BILL GRACIE - 100TH BIRTHDAY
The Kilsyth Burns & Old congregation are delighted to wish Mr Bill Gracie a very Happy 100th Birthday on Saturday 11th July 2020.
This will be a double celebration for the Gracie family this year as Bill's grand-daughter Arlene will be getting married that afternoon.
As well as being our only centenarian (100 year old), Bill wrote and published a book entitled “The Old Lady of Backbrae”. Bill is holding a copy in the attached photograph. This book is full of information from the Reformation in Europe in the 16th century up until the present day.

The rose on the right is aptly named "Perfect Gentleman" and will shortly be planted in the new Peace Garden at the church. This will be happening as soon as the groundwork around the new bench is completed. I am sure everyone is looking forward to seeing it in place.
