THE GUILD
The Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland to invite and encourage all people, male or female, to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
The Guild Hymn
Inspire us Lord, give us strength and courage
to serve with grace, unselfish and sincere
Commit our lives. Supporting one another
with hope and peace replacing hurt and fear
Reach out and help with love and with compassion
give strength and hope to those who are in need
to work as one, to change the lives of many
Express our faith in worship, prayer and deed.
So Lord, awaken us to every challenge
With confidence, determined to succeed
Let us act justly, always showing mercy
Break down the walls, transform lives indeed
With willing hearts, we gladly serve the Lord our God
In Him we trust and in Him we believe
And reach beyond our every expectation
Let us have faith in all that we can achieve.

Summer 2020
Guild Outing
Hopefully everyone is well during this very difficult time we are living through. Through modern technology, we have still been able to enjoy morning worship each Sunday and also a mid-week short "Thought for Today" on Wednesdays. We have been very fortunate both with the lovely spring weather we have had so far and also with our local shops doing such a good service to the community. Those who have been self-isolating will have made good use of the ordering and delivering service available to everyone.
Please check this page on the website for information regarding the autumn session, whether or not we will be able to recommence in October.
You may have been checking your diaries and noticed that our outing is due to take place to St Andrews on 10 June. Unfortunately, this will not be going ahead because of Covid19 and the current restrictions in place. The Scores Hotel has been most helpful and have refunded our deposit into our bank account. God willing, we will re-book the same hotel for next summer.
