Church 2 Feb 26

At their meeting on 10 March 2026, Glasgow Presbytery set a date and time of Thursday 26 March 2026 at 7.00pm for the Service of Union between Kilsyth Burns & Old Parish Church and Kilsyth Anderson Church.

The last service for both churches was Sunday 22 March 2026 with the first service of the new Kilsyth and District Parish Church on Palm Sunday 29 March 2026 in the former Kilsyth Anderson building where all subsequent services will be held.

Our final service was held on 22 March 2026 and included the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper with an invitation to all.  This was a very emotional service, with a very large turnout. After the service, the congregation were invited to the large hall for a light lunch of sausage rolls and home baking which give everyone the opportunity to meet up and share some special time together. We invited previous ministers and those preachers who have faithfully supported us, some for over 30 years and hope to welcome those who are free to join us.
