Kilsyth Burns and Old Parish Church Vision and Mission Statement;
‘To maintain a focal point within Kilsyth and District for the development of God’s Kingdom by proclaiming Christ’s message and demonstrating by example what a difference His teachings make.’
To help achieve this, we promise:
To meet regularly for worship and to maintain a place for that purpose.
To spread the Word of God by the promotion of a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the church and out into the world beyond.
To maintain a system of Christian education for children and young people within a responsible and caring environment.
To provide facilities and to encourage development of youth organisation and adult groups within a background of Christian concern.
To establish close links with the sick, the housebound and the needy, including the setting up of a programme of visitation, where appropriate.
To encourage further the interaction amongst all Christian traditions in the parish.
To take the message of the Lord Jesus Christ to all new homes being developed within the parish, with particular emphasis being given to welcome families to our Christian fellowship.
We have recently formed Task Groups to help fulfill the above promises and would welcome your God given talents and abilities should you wish to become part of our church.
